Insurance plans we're in-network with

Riverpark Dental of Howell is in-network with each of the following plans. Select a plan to see how it works at our office:

What in-network means for you

Being in-network means we have a contract with your insurer that sets our fees for covered procedures at agreed rates. For you, that usually means lower out-of-pocket costs than seeing an out-of-network dentist, because your plan pays its in-network share and you are not billed the difference above the contracted fee.

It also means less paperwork. We file your claims directly with your insurer, so you don't have to submit forms or wait for reimbursement.

How benefits verification works

Surprise bills usually come from benefits nobody checked. Here's how we prevent them:

  • Share your plan details when you book online or by phone — the name on the policy, member ID and employer or group number.
  • Our insurance coordinators verify your benefits before your appointment: what's covered, what's left of your annual maximum, and any deductible still to meet.
  • You get a written, itemized estimate showing what your plan is expected to pay and what your share is — before treatment begins.
  • We file the claim and help you plan treatment to make the most of your benefits. If an unexpected cost comes up, we tell you right away.

What PPO dental plans typically cover

Every plan is different, and we always check yours specifically. As a general pattern, many PPO plans cover preventive care such as exams, cleanings and X-rays at or near 100%; basic care such as fillings at around 70–80%; and major work such as crowns, bridges and dentures at around 50%. Most plans also have a deductible and an annual maximum.

Purely cosmetic treatment, such as whitening, is usually not covered. Orthodontic and implant coverage varies widely from plan to plan, which is why the written estimate matters.

A Dentist That Accepts Insurance Howell — plus options if you have none

If you don't have dental insurance, our in-house membership plan covers two exams with routine X-rays, two cleanings and an emergency exam for $295 a year for adults or $199 for children, with 10% off fillings and other procedures. In-house and third-party financing are also available for larger treatment.

If your plan isn't on the list above, call us anyway. Our coordinators can check what your plan will pay at our office before you book.

Will you file my insurance claims for me?
