Riverpark Dental of Howell is in-network with Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company. You're charged the plan's contracted fees, which are generally lower than our standard fees, and we handle the claims. Before treatment, you get a written estimate of what you'll owe.
Don't let this year's benefits expire
Most dental plans run on a benefit year — often the calendar year, though some use a different start date. When it resets, any unused annual maximum is gone and your deductible starts over. The premiums you paid for coverage you didn't use don't come back.
If you have treatment that's been diagnosed but not done, or you haven't had both cleanings this year, the months before your reset are the time to act. Sunday appointments make it easier to fit visits in before the deadline.
A year-end checklist
If your reset is coming up, run through this list:
- Ask us how much of your annual maximum is left — we'll look it up
- Book any cleaning or exam you haven't used; on most PPO plans these are typically covered at or near 100%
- Finish diagnosed treatment such as fillings or a crown while this year's deductible is already met
- If you need major work, consider starting part now and part after the reset to draw on two years of benefits
- Check whether family members on your plan are due for checkups too

If you've used your whole maximum or your Reliance Standard coverage ends, in-house and third-party financing can spread larger costs into monthly payments. Patients without insurance can join our membership plan: $295 a year for adults, starting immediately, with no deductible or annual maximum.
