Riverpark Dental of Howell is in-network with Companion Life Insurance Company. You pay based on the plan's contracted fees, which are typically lower than standard fees, and our office files the claims for you.

Before each visit, our insurance coordinators check your eligibility, what you've already used this benefit year and what remains. You'll see your share on a written estimate before any treatment begins.

Use it before you lose it

Most dental plans run on a benefit year — often the calendar year, though not always. Your annual maximum and any deductible usually reset when it ends, and the unused part of the maximum typically does not carry forward. That means a filling you put off in the fall may cost you more in January, when the deductible starts over.

We can look up your benefit year, remaining maximum and whether your deductible is already met, then suggest what's worth doing now. The earlier in the fall you call, the more appointment times you'll have to choose from.

If what you need exceeds what's left on your plan this year, we'll show you two paths in writing: split the work across benefit years when that's safe, or finish now with in-house or third-party financing covering the balance. If you leave the plan entirely, our membership plan covers preventive care for $295 a year for adults.
