Riverpark Dental of Howell is in-network with Always Care. Your treatment is billed at the plan's contracted rates, which are usually lower than standard fees, and we send claims to Always Care for you. Our coordinators check your benefits before a scheduled visit — and in an emergency, as quickly as we can while you're being cared for.
When something hurts: using your coverage in an emergency
Dental emergencies rarely wait for a convenient day. We block out time every day for emergency dentistry, and on Sundays we welcome emergency walk-ins from 9 to 3. You can also book an emergency slot online.
- Severe toothache or swelling — often a sign of infection that needs prompt care, sometimes a root canal
- Broken or cracked tooth — we relieve the pain and protect the tooth; if it needs a crown, a temporary goes on first and the permanent crown follows at a second visit
- Lost filling or crown — if you have the crown, bring it with you
- Wisdom tooth pain — we evaluate it and, when needed, remove the tooth here
What emergency care costs with your plan
Most dental plans cover emergency exams and the treatment that follows, though at different levels depending on the procedure. Once you're comfortable, we explain the options and give you a written estimate of your share before anything beyond pain relief.
If an emergency leads to larger treatment, in-house and third-party financing can spread your share into monthly payments.
