Riverpark Dental of Howell is in-network with Guardian Dental. Your costs are based on Guardian's contracted fees rather than our standard fees, and because the fee is lower, each covered service uses less of your yearly benefit.

Our coordinators verify your coverage ahead of time, send claims for you and give you a written estimate of what you'll owe before treatment starts.

How to stretch your annual maximum

Your annual maximum is the most your plan pays in a benefit year. Once it's used up, you pay the rest. Guardian plans vary — the maximum, deductible and coverage levels depend on the plan your employer or you chose — so we look up your numbers first.

From there, a few habits make a real difference:

Keep preventive visits on schedule. On most PPO plans they're typically covered at or near 100%, and catching a small cavity costs far less than treating a large one.
Treat problems while they're small. A filling now usually uses much less of your maximum than a crown or root canal later.
Sequence larger work. When it's safe, we can place one crown this year and another after your benefits renew.
Ask for an estimate first. We'll show your expected share before any major treatment.

Covering the part insurance doesn't

For implants, multiple crowns or other major care, your share can still be significant. In-house and third-party financing lets you spread it out. If Guardian coverage ends, our membership plan has no annual maximum or deductible: $295 a year for adults and $199 for children, including two cleanings and 10% off other treatment.
